學校以3H為理念,期望學生能夠在學習、求取新知識的同時也能學習到人格修養的發展,並以幽默、人道、謙虛作為一個目標。我認為學習幽默、人道、謙虛是一個相當好的作法,這些都可使自己的修養提升到另一個境界,並在未來出社會之際,能在更為複雜多變的人際關係中處變不驚。
什麼是謙虛?謙虛就是態度敬讓而不自大,對人禮貌、客氣,總保持退一步為海闊天空的理念,得饒人處且饒人。對朋友、家人、甚至陌生人謙虛,可以說是相當高貴的情操,但覺非是單一的口號或變像的傲慢、亦非軟弱的展現。也許有些人認為這是簡單的事,是的,這的確是件簡單的事,因此人人往往就忽略了它,就好像大家都知道愛迪生是發現大王;但有多少人知道他發明了多少東西?簡單:「電燈」對沒錯發明電燈,那還有呢?愛迪生不會只因發現電燈而成為發明大王吧?因為簡單而忽略是件危險的事,曾有一本書描寫著作者對簡單平淡的不以為意-作者在學速描時,曾困惑於一位聞名畫家的大作竟是最不寫實的畫,大師反而開導他說:「一定要有非常深厚的速描底子,才能畫好那麼簡單的畫」。同樣當人昂首闊步的邁向遙遠的未來時,為什麼不拾起擋路的石子,非要踢到了鐵板才去省思?因為簡單嘛而忽略。但若你願意在別人的面前褪下自我主義這張臉孔,用客觀合理的眼光看待他人,不因別人外表的美醜、胖瘦、高矮而作出主觀的裁決,或對別人的言行舉指作出相當主觀的判斷。這樣的人往往很受大家的歡迎,因為他待人有禮處處替人著想,頗有君子風格且不佔人便宜,更不會老拿放大鏡觀察別人或是語帶不舒服的語調,就舉戀愛的情侶來說-對戀人能包容彼此、信任彼此、了解彼此不老因為小事而爭吵,互不相讓,試著以溝通的方式解決,能顧慮對方的想法,不作單方面的「只要我喜歡,有什麼不可以」,或以死相逼。雖說如此但謙虛過了也是件不好的事,因為過度處處替人著想的後果,就是完全否決掉了自己對人事物的判斷能力,別人的錯誤卻看成了自己的錯誤,一而再、再而三更改終使自己困於自己所設的牢籠之內,失去了主見!也有可能使自己無法對別人的無理作出反擊,因為習慣了自我反省;而忽略了現實生活中並非完美理想的世界,而成了惡人眼中的肥羊!或許也有人還是覺得學習謙虛是不容易,但這非他們辦不到,而是沒有那個心去作,人總是相當愛面子,無法低下高傲的頭去面對他人;因此更突顯出謙虛的對人格修養的重要性!因為大家都堅持己見那衝突就在所難免了!

Overview︰
Before Lee pei wei, Charlie and I visit KID CASTLE this extension class, we had visited many same kind extension classes, but because they suspect our motive so did not allow us to observe their course, except KID CASTLE. From Oct. 17, 2005 to Oct. 20, 2005 this period we observe KID CASTLE course twice a week. The students are all elementary school students and come from three different schools (Ma Dou, Da Shan, Pei Wen). The teacher’s numbers may be four or five. One of them is Foreigner. When we arrive, I see a cupboard, which is full of toys each toy labels some figures. I think that may be are the award given to students. The KID CASLE divide seven levels for students. Each one has different classes to identify student English ability. One Teacher tells us we can observe two classes, so we divide into two groups. One is me another one is Lee pei Wei and Charlie. In mine observe class have one teacher and in another class Lee pei Wei and Charlie visit have two teachers one is that Foreigner. Teacher or students only uses English in classroom. Even dismiss the class, teacher still encourage students say English no Chinese. The classroom not big and only ten or twelve students in this class, their seat is arranged like a “n “word is meaning that there is no seat in the middle. The teacher is a new teacher here, just teaches fortnight. The way teacher use is like Audio-Lingual Method. Sometime she holds activities or play games in the class. She only speaks English and very cares student pronunciation. And in these two hours, she teaches many words. Half an hour at the end, they have one examination.
